Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area is a ski resort located in the Rocky Mountains of the United States, straddling the border between Idaho and Montana.

The resort is situated on Lookout Pass, offering 1,650ft of vertical with a top elevation of 6,150ft and bottom elevation of 4,500ft. The ski area features 1,023 skiable acres, with 54 named runs and 2 terrain parks. The resort has a vertical drop of 1,650 feet. 

In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Lookout Pass offers other winter activities  The resort has a ski school and a rental
shop for those who need equipment.

Lookout Pass also has a rich history, dating back to the early 20th century when it was used as a transportation route for miners and loggers. Today, the resort is family-owned and operated, and is known for its friendly atmosphere and affordable prices.

While Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area is primarily a winter resort, it does offer summer activities as well. During the summer months, the resort operates the internationally recognized Route of the Hiawatha – Scenic Bike Trail, offering a scenic, 15-mile (24-kilometer) ride that follows the path of the last transcontinental railroad bed through 10 dark tunnels and across 7 Sky High steel trestles. The trail is known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is suitable for all skill levels as it is all slightly downhill.

In addition to the bike trail, Lookout Pass also has a scenic chairlift that operates on weekends during the summer months. The chairlift takes riders to the summit of Lookout Pass, where they can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Once at the top, visitors can hike or picnic in the alpine meadows, or simply take in the view. Huckleberris come into picking season in Early August.
