King Pine Ski Area, located in Madison, New Hampshire, offers a variety of activities for all seasons, catering to families and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Winter activities include alpine skiing and snowboarding featuring 17 trails serviced by six lifts, with terrain suitable for all skill levels. Notably, the Pitch Pine trail is recognized as one of New England’s steepest. Several trails are illuminated for evening skiing and snowboarding, with hours varying throughout the season. The Pine Meadows Snowtubing Park offers multiple lanes, each serviced by a tow rope for easy access. The Tohko Dome is a covered outdoor ice rink, maintained regularly and equipped with lighting and music for an enjoyable skating experience. The Purity Spring XC & Snowshoe Reserve provides 20 kilometers of scenic trails winding through forests and around Purity Lake, suitable for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
During the Summer warmer months, King Pine transforms into a hub for various outdoor pursuits. These include hiking and biking the resort’s trails offer opportunities for hiking and biking, allowing visitors to explore the natural beauty of the area. Purity Lake, adjacent to the resort, is ideal for activities such as swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The recently opened 18-hole King’s Mark Disc Golf Course provides a fun challenge for players of all skill levels.
