Jay Peak Resort
Given that the mountain enjoys the most natural snowfall snow in the Northeast, powder days and consistent snow are a given at Jay Peak Resort. Recent investment in the mountain and village has proven to be popular with the resort guests as the experience for year round activities has emerged as one of the top mountain resorts in the North East and New England.
Jay Peak is a 4-season resort located in Vermont’s pristine Northeast Kingdom in the town of Jay on Route 242. The Northeast Kingdom, two thousand square miles in Orleans, Caledonia and Essex counties, is Vermont’s last frontier. The name is credited to Senator George Aiken who remarked in 1949, “You know, this is such beautiful country up here, it ought to be called the Northeast Kingdom.” It is the most rural part of the state.
