Copper Mountain Resort
Copper Mountain Resort is the result of a guy named Chuck Lewis looked at an unassuming mountainside with vision and conviction over 50 years ago. He took one look at the current site of Copper and told his friends, “I don’t care how everyone else does it, we’re not everyone else,” and he meant it. He negotiated a deal to purchase 280 acres at the base and worked with the Forest Service to establish parameters and guidelines for the ski area. Chuck was both a renegade and a visionary. Today, Chuck’s dream is alive and well.
A favorite for years, located in Summit County with terrain for every ability and abundant Colorado snow and sunshine. The village is convenient and has all the amenities one would welcome in your next mountain vacation or getaway.
Summer activities include lift serviced mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, rafting, golf and more.
