HOURS OF OPERATION – Baldy Mountain resort will be open 5 days a week, Thursday to Monday, during our winter snow season. Get here early on Thursday to experience the untouched powder of Big POW Thursdays! Baldy will also be open 7 days a week during the Christmas/New Year’s season and the first week of the South Okanagan School District 53’s Spring Break. Baldy Mountain Resort season passes and daily lift tickets is the most affordable skiing and snowboarding in the Okanagan in BC Canada, making it a great family adventure destination. Aside from skiing and snowboarding, there is a variety of other seasonal activities available for everyone in the family, even the non-skier.

MOUNTAIN STATS
Baldy Mountain Resort is among the highest ski area base elevations in Canada and is the ninth highest in BC. Baldy’s day lodge rests at 5,665 feet/1,726 meters above sea level, the ski area is lift serviced to 6,965ft/2,123m, and the summit is 2,310 meters/7,580 ft. Baldy boasts 75% beginner to intermediate terrain as well as challenging expert terrain, first-rate grooming, and long lasting fresh champagne powder.

With 35 alpine runs, 360 acres of trails, and 240 acres of glades for tree skiing/boarding, practically the entire mountain can be explored. The variety of terrain at Baldy Mountain Resort offers many green, blue or black options off each lift, and all trails return to the day lodge, making the mountain easy to navigate. In addition to our ski and snowboard trails, Baldy Mt has 5 km of groomed cross-country skiing trails for beginners to intermediates. Baldy also offers 5 km of snowshoe trails for explorers of varying abilities.

Baldy Mt has two main chairlifts, Eagle and Sugarlump, as well as a magic carpet and our McKinney T-bar that also connects to our terrain park. Our two-seater Eagle chairlift has a maximum elevation of 2,123m, and our four-seater, Sugarlump, has a maximum elevation of 1,942m. These lifts provide access to all varieties of terrain, from green to black.
